Hi! My name is Lisa Smith, I was born and raised in Phoenix, Az. I have 1 son, and I am a STEM teacher at a small school. I originally created the AZ Moms Facebook group as a place where moms could share their ideas and feel supported. I think that all moms should have a village of support around them, and that when we share ideas we not only build each other up with encouragement, but also we help our kids grow and learn. Hey There!

My name is Heather Adams, and I am one of the creators of AZ Moms. Lisa actually started the AZ Moms facebook group, as a safe place for moms to share their ideas, and seek advice from other moms. I came into the picture by wanting to start a blog for AZ Moms, where our awesome ideas, and love for being a mom can be shared all over the world. I think there is such value in listening to the wisdom and experience of other mothers. I truly believe that it takes a village to raise children, and I love helping moms in any way I can. I am an Arizona native, born and raised in Mesa. I am married to my husband J, and we will be married for 5 years this December. We have 2 beautiful girls CC who just turned 3, and MJ who will be 1 on New Years Eve. I also work full time as a Kindergarten teacher in Phoenix, and have been teaching for 3 years. I love to craft, and make wreaths and door hangers, and other burlap crafts I find off Pinterest. I am obsessed with Pinterest, Harry Potter, Greys Anatomy, and reading.
